Lady Gaga has unveiled the eagerly anticipated campaign for her new fragrance ‘Lady Gaga Fame.’ The songstress goes nude-n-leather in front of Steven Klein‘s black-and-white lens.
The star had been anxious in anticipation of the big reveal, taking to Twitter to express her nerves.
“I won’t lie I’m a bit nervous. Its been a while since I’ve shared some work with you. But I’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep! (sic),” she wrote.
It is expected that the campaign will begin running in magazines this September.
Earlier this month Gaga disclosed more details about her debut scent via Twitter, telling her followers there will be two versions of the Fame fragrance, an “affordable” small bottle and a larger version dubbed “Le Masterpiece”.
The smaller edition of her upcoming edition will be priced at around $30, while the premier edition of the fragrance will retail for more than $70.
The perfume is set to arrive in stores this September and has been described as the “first ever black eau de parfum.” Although black in the bottle, it sprays clear and becomes invisible once airborne.
Although it had previously been reported that the singer’s debut perfume would make reference to the odours of blood and sperm, it has since been described as one of “floral and fruity elements”.
